Wildflower Dreams is the celebration of nature's beauty, captured through encaustic and mixed mediaon wood panel- this work reveals intricate veining, organic layers and delicate transitions between delicate pinks , earchy ochres, and moss greens
These weave together like petals stirred by a gentle breeze, while intricate textures echo the delicate veins of leaves and blossoms. This piece invite the viewer into a dreamscape, where wild flowers bloom, endlessly, untouched by time, and beauty exist, in its beautiful, most organic form.
Why I created this painting?
This painting was inspired by the remarkable beauty of the Rafflesia, a rare and extraordinary flower known for its deep red petals with soft white patterns. Its dramatic form and organic textures feel almost surreal, as if nature itself painted the surface. I was drawn to its visual power- the bold colors, visual shapes, and the way it emerges from the forest floor like a mysterious bloom.
