Fiery, fierce, and fearless, or quiet, purposeful, and reflective, the art of dance empowers us to lose ourselves to the rhythm of our internal spirit. There is something both powerful and beautiful in the movement of our bodies, in the healing power of music to soothe our souls. Using a medium known as encaustics, brightly colored pigments are mixed with hot wax to create a painting that effortlessly encapsulates dance as an expressive and interpretive language, one that transcends both time and culture.
